Longines produce some phenomenal watches that are not only mechanically sound by visually delightful. This 9ct 1940’s dress watch is no exception. With an original dial that is matt in appearance but the numerals that are gilt, and that looks rather exceptional. The 36mm 9ct case is also a little different and is stepped giving it a rather unique look. Using the 12.68Z movement it is an exception movement well made and far ahead of its time. An excellent looking watch that you wouldn’t see every day.
