1960’s Universal Geneve Rose Gold 2368046

£3,000.00

Universal Geneve is a well regarded watchmaker, making superb watches and movements. This Universal is no exception. Cased in an 18ct rose gold slim case, with a linen dial. But by far the icing on top is the micro rotor movement. The Patent for the design was applied on 27th May 1955 and, after some legal trouble with Bruen, they finally registered on 15th May 1958. Sadly Universal Geneve was one of the victims of the quartz crisis but their watches are highly collectible and well regarded in the watch community to this day.

Interesting Fact ” The Dutch Royal Family gave Universal Geneve a Royal Warrant in 1939
