1970 Omega Seamaster Diver 166.062

The Omega Seamaster collection was introduced in 1948 and has since become one of Omega’s most iconic and popular lines. Originally designed for professional divers and underwater explorations, it was then made more commercial.

The Seamaster 60 was produced in three different color variations: black, dark blue, and burgundy. This electric blue variant is by far our favorite. Captivating to the eye and a classic looking watch. With a case made by Omega go to manufacturer La Centrale Boîtes, who also provided cases for some Speedmasters. Although the case was tested to only 60 meters of water resistance it has a huge crown often found on watches with a much higher depth rating like the Omega Plo Prof. This crown plays an important role in the quick-set date functionality, which can be used to advance the date by pushing and pulling the crown in and out.
