1970 Omega Seamaster Anakin Skywalker 145.023

£12,000.00

A long time ago (1970) in a country far far away… the Omega Seamaster 145.023 Anakin Skywalker was born. Made from Tungsten this watch is a beast sitting at 44.5mm X 51mm and 14.6mm thick. Although the watch was released 7 years before the Star Wars Franchise, it adopted its name Anakin Skywalker. This was after Omega expert and star wars fan Chuck Maddox named nicknamed a few Omega watches with iconic character names from the films, The Jedi, Anakin and Vader. You can certainly see why with the futuristic look of the watch.

The Seamaster has a mint case made from tungsten which is incredibly durable, meaning this watch is near mint. Tungsten steel is an alloy with everything you’d want to make a durable watch,  high hardness, wear resistance, strength and toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to how robust the material of the watch, is looking at it is like stepping back in time. The dial is flawless dark black, blue outer seconds track and red subdials. The watch was originally delivered to Mexico and has an incredibly rare Holzer (Hecho En Mexico) bracelet.
