1970’s Breitling 815 Chronograph

£4,500.00

The 815 model is most distinguishable by its characteristic triple-register “Panda” layout. This version has been nicknamed ‘Long playing’ thanks to its longer mainspring with a 52-hour power reserve as a result. Powered by the durable Valjoux 7736. With its good looks, thick case and Breitling brand name, the Ref. 815 Long Playing remains great value in the vintage watch world and is highly collectable. This beautifully preserved example has a clean dial and is all round an excellent example for a collector.

Interesting Fact “Breitlings founder Leon Breilting was only 24 years old when he founded the company”
