1970’s Heuer Carrera 1553

Heuer is often regarded as the King of chronographs and you can see why because in the 60’s and 70’s that’s all they made. They did dabble in dress watches but Heuer knew what it was good at and did just that. This Heuer Carrera is the later version of the 1153 the first Carrera with an automatic movement and was available at $198.00 when brand new. This 1553 has the cal 15 movement that is slightly upgraded to the cal 12, it also features a second hand rather than an hour recorder like the cal 12. In mint condition with a flawless silver dial is a must for any collector.
