1970’s Heuer Incabloc 1589B


Presented here is a captivating Heuer chronograph dating back to the late 1970s. Originally made by Monnin the same artisan responsible for the renowned reference 844 dive watch. This timepiece is a later swiss made version, driven by a Valjoux 7765 movement. Notably, it incorporates a convenient quick-set date function, simplifying the watch-setting process to a seamless experience. The tonneau-shaped case is adorned with “open style” lugs, facilitating effortless strap changes. The dial of this particular watch is mint along with the case it really is like new old stock!

Originally featured in the Heuer 1978-79 catalog, this model commanded a price of 230 Francs, underscoring its esteemed status during its initial release. Altogether, this Heuer chronograph from the late 1970s stands as a testament to precision craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and enduring style.
