1970’s Jenny Depth Meter Chronograph

Jenny is a brand that sadly was a victim like many of the quartz crisis. During their time they were known for sailing and dive watches. Known for their bright and vibrant colourways making them easily legible tool watches. Exceptionally rarer to find we have been lucky enough to stumble across a NOS Depth Meter chronograph. Seemingly stowed away for years it is a true time capusal that transports you back to the 70’s.

The depth meter is built into the crystal. The way this works is the opening of this tube is blocked by the water, and the air inside is trapped. When you dive deeper the air in the tube compresses and the water comes in pushing the red marker indicating the depth on the bezel. (we don’t advise using vintage watches in water now though!)

Interesting Fact “Jenny made watches for a number of brands including Doxa, California-based Aquadive, Philip Watch, Ollech & Wajs, and Fortis”
