1974 Heuer Montreal Cal 12 Chronograph 110.503

The “Montreal” model is known for its distinctive design and vibrant color combinations, which were inspired by the city of Montreal in Canada and the spirit of the Formula 1 races held there. The Heuer Montreal has a unique and eye catching design with a cushion shaped case. It measures 42mm in diameter, which was relatively large for its time. The dial was available in a number of bold colors, including blue, orange, and red, with contrasting sub-dials and a tachymeter scale plus pulsation scale on the outer edge

This watch is LNOS (like new old stock) featuring an unpolished immaculate case and even the original red Heuer case back sticker. The watch screams 70’s with its chunky case and funky design. Remove the case back and you find the famous Cal 12 movement, the first automatic chronograph movement.  This watch is not one to be passed on for any serious Heuer collector.

Interesting Fact “German racer Stefan Bellof wore this model of the Montreal.”
