1980’s Heuer Autavia 11063V

Over the years there have been many different versions of the Autavia. But this arguably is one of the most iconic. Thick case and of course the Cal 12 Automatic chronograph movement, the first of its kind! This Heuer Autavia has a clean matte black dial with its original signed crown and signature cut out pushers. Overall the watch is in collectors grade condition and appears almost unused. It would be the staple piece in anyone’s collection after all you don’t see many Heuers in this sort of condition.

Heuer famously ran an interesting add campaign with the Autavia In 1972. The Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company offered a unique promotion allowing customers to acquire a Heuer Autavia chronograph for the price of $88. To qualify for this special offer, customers needed to provide proof of purchase for a carton of Viceroy cigarettes, which typically contained ten packs. Notably, during this promotion, the Autavia chronographs were available at a significant discount compared to their regular retail price of $200 through authorized dealers.
